Why automatically pattern updating is so important ?
On an average, over five new viruses are being created each day over the worldwide. Automatic updating the virus patterns and updating the scan engine are the important functions to prevent virus attacks. To ensure a complete registration, the serial number and license key must be both correctly entered. If either information is not complete entered, your PC-cillin 2002 OEM version will not be able to receive automatic updates.
A correct registration will thus ensure user to receive uninterrupted automatic virus patterns and scan engines for up to 90 days. Before expiry, you will receive an email from Trend Micro to remind you further registration with little money.

product registration method
Trend Micro PC-cillin 2002 OEM offers a new way to register your software online. Simply fill out a few details on our Registration Web page, receive your License Key via email, and insert it into a field on the Register Now screen of the PC-cillin window.
Please refer to the following information to register your software.
To register your software after installation:
1. Click Windows Start > Programs > Trend Micro PC-cillin 2002 > PC-cillin 2002.
The PC-cillin window appears.
2. On the PC-cillin window, click the Standard tab. The Standard mode menu appears.
3. On the Standard mode menu, click the Register link. The Register Now screen appears.
4. Confirm that your serial number already exists and click Register Now. The Register Web page loads in your browser.
5. On the Register Web page in the appropriate fields, type your name and email address.
6. Type your email address again to confirm it's the correct address.
7. Click Send. A Confirmation Web page loads and a License Key is sent via email.
8. Copy the License Key from the email and paste it under Step 3 in the Register Now screen.
9. Click Finish.
Congratulations! You have registered your software. You can now use the full functionality of PC-cillin 2002 OEM and receive the benefits.
Note. You need to input the License Key to finish the registration proess so to use full functionality of PC-cillin 2002 OEM. Once you' ve registered, you receive the following benefits: virus pattern file and scan engine updates for 90 days, technical support, and information about future updates and the latest virus threats.

If you have any problems or error messages are shown when you install PC-cillin 2002 OEM version, please visit http://www.trend.com.tw/System/DownloadDirect.asp?Site=3&Url=/pub/download/TrialVersion/PCcillin/Pcc2002ASUS.ZIP
. You may download updated version of PC-cillin 2002 OEM. But please remember to input your serial number and complete on line registration in order to get the license key. Without the license key, the automatic pattern update of PC-cillin 2002 OEM will be expired in 30 days.
The total capacity of PC-cillin 2002 OEM is about 32MB. Broadband (xDSL/Cable modem) will be recommended.
Why this happens？
PC-cillin 2002 OEM uses Install Shield for Windows Installer for installation process of the program. Because of this, various messages in installation wizard depend on the language setting of Microsoft Windows operating system.
Therefore, Install wizard may be displayed in another language when language in your operating system is set to languages other than English.
